When getting acquainted with the documents of past years, I noticed a large number of various kinds of certificates (documents of a personal nature), located very haphazardly.
Each of them - individually - is of very little informational value.
However, if to arrange them in chronological order, they can provide additional information about a person, about his interests and about his life.
I have already mentioned some documents (certificates), I will have to mention them again.
Probably, a more thorough search would give a possibility to find some more certificates.
But I will confine myself to those that are found without difficulty.
The result of the attempt is shown below.
1. April 23, 1930. Birth certificate number 1018 dated April 23, 1930, Rostov-on-Don, (notarized copy).
2. 3/VIII 1945. Number 275. Rostov-on-Don Technical School of the Fishing Industry. Rostov n/a, Oborony Street [Defense Street], 55. "You are admitted to admission tests ...".
3. June 27, 1953. Received a diploma with honors from the Novocherkassk Polytechnic Institute.
4. 1953. Military ID, issued September 25, 1967. Military training at the Novocherkassk Polytechnic Institute in 1953 in the profile - commander of an automobile platoon (VUS - 62). [junior lieutenant, senior lieutenant of the reserve, marks on taking the military oath and on conferring the rank of "lieutenant" are not in the military ID]
5. August 21, 1953. Employment book (work book) issued.
6. January 10, 1956. Date of issue of the Komsomol card.
7. July 31, 1957 Amateur navigator's certificate [certificate of navigator, not eligible to work for hire] number СЛ-628 dated July 31, 1957.
8. July 23, 1960 The certificate dated July 23, 1960, is given to the effect that Vladimir Vasilievich Zalessky has really been working since 5/VIII-1958 in the department of ultra sound as a head.
9. December 31, 1960. Marriage certificate.

15. March 16, 1973. Associate Professor Certificate. МДЦ number 078857.
16. November 19, 1973. Date of issue of the party card of a member of the CPSU.
17. March 14, 1974. Certificate number 535 dated March 14, 1974, issued to a member of the scientific and technical council at the Rostov city committee of the CPSU.
18. January 19, 1975. In 1975, Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Education of the USSR A.P. Shaposhnikova signs a certificate, which says "Comrade Zalessky Vladimir Vasilievich, head of the department of ionosphere and radio wave propagation of the Rostov State University, improved his qualifications on the problems of teaching physics ... at the All-Union Conference-Seminar of Heads of Departments of Physics ... specialties of universities of the USSR from January 7 to January 19, 1975".
19. May 27, 1975. Certificate number 1211 dated May 27, 1975 on work as an associate professor of the FIRR the academic department [division of a university faculty] of the Physics Faculty of Rostov State University. [On May 15, 1973, he began working as the head of the FIRR department. On March 1, 1974, he was elected to the position of head of the department by competition].
20. March 30, 1994. Membership card number 000105 dated March 30, 1994 of the Consumer Society of Owners of Small Ships "Avral". Token [badge, жетон] Л-СТ [Avral boat station; лодочная станция] number 105. And also - receipts for payment of membership fees.
21 April 9, 1981 Hunting/Fishing License 479596 dated April 9, 1981 [he did not hunt or fish - perhaps boat owners should have had a Hunting and Fishing License].
22. December 15, 1981. Coupon number 100259 dated December 15, 1981 to the ДОАМ card number ОРС 00416. (Coupon issued by the Kirov District Council of the Rostov Regional Council of the All-Russian Voluntary Society of Motorists [ДОАМ]).
23. October 15, 1982. Passport.
24. July 12, 1988. Hunting and fishing ticket 106772 dated July 12, 1988.
25. November 26, 1989. Certificate of November 26, 1989 to the medal "Veteran of Labour".
26. June 29, 1991. Passbook dated June 29, 1991 and five more passbooks from different dates.
27 November 9, 2004. Medical certificate (for presentation to the traffic police) number 007935 dated November 9, 2004.
28 November 9, 2004. Driver's card dated November 9, 2004 number 61186.
There are quite a lot of certificates (documents), and gradually, when describing them, fatigue accumulates in me. So I decide to pause in the process of viewing of the IDs and other documents.
What can be said about the listed certificates and other documents?
For a graduate of the Novocherkassk Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Internal Combustion Engines (and for a commander of an automobile platoon in the reserve), it is quite natural to feel a craving for cars.
In 1973 - if Vladimir Vasilievich has a driver's license - he apparently owns a car. His status is rising. He is a member of the scientific and technical council at the city committee of the CPSU. And, in general, he is a man with a perspective. The years 1973-1975 look, at first glance, as a favorable period.
As for the Amateur navigator's certificate dated July 31, 1957 and Vladimir Vasilievich's membership in the society of owners of small ships "Avral".
On this occasion, I recall such a case. Two motor boats [intended for river journeys] traveled along the Don River. Vladimir Vasilievich and his wife were in one motor boat, and two well-known (now deceased) people from Rostov State University were in the other one.
The boats reached the Sea of Azov and went deeper into the territory of the sea proper.
The weather was summer, warm, resort.
Quite suddenly, a strong wind arose, and a high wave went.
The boat with two people from the Rostov State University was dragging out to open sea by the strong wind. Her motor suddenly stopped.
The situation threatened to be a disaster. And there was something hopeless about the situation.
Vladimir Vasilievich directed the boat, where he and his wife were, in pursuit of a motor boat with a stalled motor that was quickly disappearing in the distance.
The boat with the stalled engine was taken in tow and brought up to the shore.
From somewhere in Vladimir Vasilievich there were the qualities of a captain and the ability to skillfully act during movements in the conditions of the water element.
Perhaps studying at the Technical School of the Fishing Industry (document dated 3/VIII 1945), - from the Technical School he moved to the Novocherkassk Polytechnic Institute - was not an accident. Apparently, the Technical School trained specialists to work in the Sea of Azov.
