Why not think, not to reflect about the military journalism?
One day, an interview I overheard by chance caught my attention.

I conditionally label the 'first period' with the word 'indifference'. Let us conditionally assume that this period lasts from 2000, or from 2010, or from 2014, or from another year, up to February 2022 (until February 2022).
Since February 2022, the second period has begun.
This "second period" I label with the words "a moderate interest."
A lover of expeditions and journalistic legends about the Dyatlov Pass and the hermitess Agafya, - he is also a well-known head of a large media holding, - sent two employees (in any case, I met their names (two surnames)) to cover well-known events.
Sometimes you could hear something interesting from these people, albeit not so many information.
The word-combination "war correspondent" received a peculiar vibration. There was some interest while his pronunciation. And sometimes elements of respect were added to the interest.
The second period, conditionally, lasted from February 2022 to the day when the head of the media holding went on another expedition, settled down [made a stop] on some forest edge (clearing) and suddenly left for another world.

The second period ended and the third period began.
What is characteristic of the "third period"?
Suddenly, the "war correspondents" received (were awarded, gifted with) a great, enormous attention.
The number of "war correspondents" increased dramatically.
One of the war correspondents was lifted, carried up to a heaven in a social elevator.
A departmental medal.
A personal regular program on the radio.
Someone broadcasts regularly.
Someone is completely unable to be hearded.
Somehow I listened inattentively, but maybe some journalistic awards [prizes, premiums] were mentioned?
In general, it has become fashionable to travel closer to the events and - on this basis - to receive the 'right' to be called a 'war correspondent'.
The third period I label with the word "irony".
I marked this "third period" with this very miniature, which is now being read by those who are interested in.
Will there be a "fourth period"? Quite possible.
