Back in the days when I had more or less trust to media streams, I heard a praising towards "Siberiade". And, perhaps, even spent my money on a ticket to visit the cinema. The ticket was relatively inexpensive. The fact of deception, albeit a petty one, was unpleasant. It was a pity for the time wasted.
Except for bewilderment, this film caused nothing in me. Some people are talking about something... A train, a compartment ... - so what?
Some huge machine is knocking down, or sawing, trees ... In the context of the film, these shots seemed meaningless to me ...
After this film, I felt deceived internally. But I was surrounded with admiration. So I just had to eat my own displeasure - not expressing it to anyone, ending my viewing of the film with silence and hidden displeasure.
In addition, on the radio, in connection with the admiration for the actor Shakurov, another film was listed, but I forgot its title while I was writing about the "Own ..." [for someone] and about "Siberiade".
I think everyone understands that I personally have nothing against Shakurov - if only because I don't know anything about him, and I can't remember anything about him. In addition, judging by the books, the actors are mostly positive, in general, people.
But there is some hunch, an assumption.
