Seryozha periodically borrowed from the boy (from the junior class) a portable radio receiver. (The boy collects the postage stamps and he has a dad - a sports radio commentator).
After turning on this device several times, Seryozha developed for himself a separate algorithm for listening to radio broadcasts.
Seryozha is preparing to turn on the radio again.
He pours himself half a glass of water, drinks this water, presses the button.
He hears a voice reporting climate change and the movement of huge masses of the population from one region of the Earth to another.
Climate change! Movements of huge masses of the population!
Seryozha recalls the janitor who appeared in the yard of their apartment building about two months ago. (Maybe early summer 2023).
This janitor looks to be 45 years old (or more), and he looks like an agronomist from some eastern collective farm - such agronomists were shown in old textbooks and movies.
Seryozha used to walk around the yard and he never thought about the janitors. But he noticed this person.
The janitor looked at Seryozha as if he wanted to cut off something from Seryozha.
This is understandable - after all, agronomists cut branches from trees and bushes. Of course, branches don't grow from Seryozha. The janitor doesn't want to cut off his (Seryozha's) head?
Seryozha switched the radio to another radio channel.
There, an indignant person expressed his ideas about the corruption of the public utilities officials by people who came from distant lands.
Corruption in the Largest Metropolis of the Country! In the public utilities sector!
Seryozha could not understand in any way: how arrived people can corrupt communal officials. Let's say a person comes to the Largest Metropolis of the Country and receives 15,000 (fifteen thousand) rubles a month for working as a janitor. Out of what to corrupt here?
But at this moment, Seryozha remembers that a dead dove has been lying nearby his house for the second week. If before Seryozha saw the janitor often, now he hardly sees him; and the yard is dirty. In such a situation, it can be assumed that unscrupulous people unite, get jobs as janitors in dozens of yard territories, they don't really clean such plots, but they receive money. And what? It's kind of embarrassing to think about this. In any case, there were no dead pigeons lying around the house before, and in general, the yard was relatively clean.
However, Seryozha remembered the following story: Seryozha's relatives bought a garden plot on which there was a house for two owners. Seryozha came to look at this house. Before entering the purchased half, he found a dead cat. And then the relatives began to have big troubles with their neighbors - moreover, the neighbors urged them not to conflict with them, but to immediately raise hands up. We are the oriental people - you understand ... And some eastern peoples have a custom - toss dead cats to enemies. Seryozha accidentally read about this in some book.
It seems that this story (with the neighbors) is still dragging on and is not ended now. You understand...

A sad story about some retired submariner. He lived after his retirement in the city of Krasnodar.

Carelessly, the former sailor ran around the local park to improve his health. And what happened out of it?
Seryozha does not running to improve health. But he occasionally goes to the store. To improve his health, he chooses stores located not close, but far away.

Or during the day time, Seryozha goes to another store (in a completely different place) - along the sidewalk. And from behind emerges a janitor on a bicycle. He overtakes Seryozha, stops, takes out his smartphone and starts talking. Telling someone about something? Seryozha is not a former sailor, and he did not join the local Administration after his resignation, but he is the Chairman of the Public Council of the Pool... So...

A very unexpected situation.
Seryozha recently left the entrance of his house. Next to this entrance is the exit out of the basement. From there the janitor gets out. In one of janitor's hand - the keys (probably to the basement), in the other hand - a five-liter bottle of liquid. The liquid has a pinkish (yellow) tint. Seryozha saw such five-liter bottles and such liquid. Very similar to gasoline.
The situation in Sergiev Polisad is so unpleasant that they brought to justice the director of the company, which, it seems, caused the incident.
It is clear that someone is to blame. Who? Is the director to blame? The janitor is an inconspicuous figure.
Seryozha stops listening to the radio - for today.
Seryozha completes the actions in accordance with the accepted algorithm: he drinks half a glass of water and presses the button. The radio is silent.
Now Seryozha will return it to the boy from the junior class - until the next listening.
