Several titmouses sat on a nearby tree and talked sadly among themselves.

The titmouses fell silent in disappointment.
One of the titmouses issued a melodic sound, similar to a musical whistle.
"Reminds of itself," the sparrow Chirr guessed.
The man stopped, he put the rake against the trunk of the tree, and stepped aside. There was laying a large walnut.
The man picked up a walnut, took a knife out of his pocket, and separated one half of the nut from the other.
Then he crumbled the kernel of the nut with his fingers and sprinkled the crumbs on a level place, free of fallen leaves.
Before the man had time to take a few steps back to the rake, one of the titmouses flew up to the walnut crumbs, grabbed one of them in its beak and returned back to the branch.
