When writing previous essays, I mentioned several times that Vladimir Vasilievich received a diploma with honors and the possibility of distribution [the possibility to choose the place of job after defence of diploma] to the Council of Ministers (Moscow) or somewhere in the capitals of the Baltic republics.
However, front-line soldiers studied with (along) him - people who wore shoulder straps (during the War of 1941-1945). He couldn't cross their path [to to interfere them].
(The fact of personal participation of Vladimir Vasilievich himself in the defense of the city of Rostov-on-Don in November 1941 was 'naturally' not taken into account by anyone).
As the son of a disabled veteran of the Great Patriotic War, Vladimir Vasilievich, it seems, had the right to stay and work in Rostov-on-Don.
As I understand it, several factors influenced him.
The main thing, I think, was a serious illness (post-concussion syndrome) of his father, Vasily Alexandrovich. This disease, I suppose, deprived family members of psychological balance and created a real opportunity for erroneous actions.
An important role was played by friends - authoritative people who managed to fight in the ranks of the Red Army. (I already mentioned them). Friends jokingly directed Vladimir Vasilievich to heroic deeds - he was to go to Central Asia - to become a world-famous hunter - to hunt tigers. (The friends themselves, as I understand it, continued to work safely in Rostov-on-Don, gradually infiltrating into the teaching staff of the Higher Party School).
The lack of psychological support in the family, as well as the advices of friends (plus patriotism: "it's necessary to pay back our debt for the Motherland") - all this - so I think - sent Vladimir Vasilievich to Central Asia to work in a remote mine, which was covered with poisonous dust.
However, the period of work of Vladimir Vasilievich in Central Asia and the place of his work and his position were unclear to me.
I see his employment book (work book) and try to make sense of the notes [records].
On June 27, 1953, he received a diploma with honors from the Novocherkassk Polytechnic Institute. This is what I see in his diploma.
On August 21, 1953, a work book is issued.
The first entry looks relatively harmless.
"Sredazenergotsvetmet". 1953. VIII. 17. Enrolled in the position of foreman of the Kyrgyz production site, number 40.
What is this production site number 40? Surely there one could become a great, world-famous tiger hunter.
However, only for a short time the glory of the great hunter beckoned (invited) with its rays.
Strange as it may seem, but the same date (1953. VIII. 17) is dated the another entry: '... to consider him sent to the Baijansan point as a master. (I tried to search on the Internet. In some informational note, the 'village of Baijansan' was mentioned. I did not find anything else ...).
Then he becomes the foreman of the assembly shop, head of works of the assembly shop.
Naturally, such a job (I already wrote about it in general terms) did not cause much admiration from side of Vladimir Vasilievich.
But what to do? Necessary! Patriotism!
The work book did not reflect the epic dismissal through the court (I also briefly mentioned this epic event earlier).
News were coming from home about the illness of his father - Vasily Alexandrovich ...
1956.IV.23. 'Resigned from his post at his own request. Personnel Inspector SAETM [Sredazenergotsvetmet], signature.
A relatively young man with a great working and life experience returns to Rostov-on-Don.
1956.V.22. Goes to work at the Yuvenergochermet enterprise. Position - engineer. Senior engineer.
Apparently, Vladimir Vasilievich tried his hand at research work. It turned out that he able to easily understand the scientific and technical problems.
He read books, consulted with experienced people, thought, started working ...
1958.VIII.5. He moves to the Rostov-on-Don NIITM as the head of the ultra sound department.
Apparently, during this period, work began on defense topics ... Perhaps friends advised to take a closer look at the university ...
1964.XI.24. Transferred to Rostov State University.
Assistant, Senior Lecturer. Assistant professor.
1970. The defense of candidate dissertation. Publication of a scientific monograph.
1973 - he begins to head the academic department [division of a university faculty] of the Ionosphere and Radio Wave Propagation.
The verification by the 'party authorities' and the removal of him from the 'scientific business' were not reflected in the work book.
April 07, 1977. He was relieved of his duties of the head of the department and was appointed to the post of associate professor.
Next entry. It's only the 26 years passed...
September 15, 2003. Fired according his own desire.

I have two documents at my disposal: a Komsomol card and a party card of Vladimir Vasilievich. In those documents there is the amount of earnings - the amount from which membership fees were paid.
The Komsomol card states that Vladimir Vasilievich joined the Komsomol in October 1945.
However, the Komsomol card was issued in the Samarkand region, in the Norpoi district committee of the Komsomol, on January 10, 1956 ...
What do these numbers mean: from 1000 to 1450 rubles? With regard to the period from January 1956 to April 1958 (in April 1958 the Komsomol card was left as a keepsake - in connection with reaching the age of 28)? What were the salaries then and what was the value of money then?
In September 1956, the secretary of the local Komsomol organization makes a mistake - he adds a zero. It turns out 13,000. But the amount of the membership fees is indicated correctly - this is approximately the same amount of the membership fees as in the previous month, as in the following months.
Even if a mistake came out when writing - but it's still nice. Somehow, a conviction is born in the possibility of living financially well ...
Further - from April 1958 - a break until 1973, when a party card was issued.
400, 500, once even 900 rubles a month. You can't take (invite) useful people to Moscow restaurants with such a salary. But you can to live in Rostov.
In August 1978, monthly wages move down to a stable amount of 400 rubles.
And from January 1982 until almost July 1991 - between 300 and 400 rubles a month ...
Naturally, family investments in a car remained outside the brackets - when the "scientific business" was at the very start - then he had to travel a lot from one district of the city of Rostov-on-Don to another. For the money earned by his parents (his mother learned to sew, and his disabled father was selling a women's clothes in the markets), a car was bought.
What is the result: he studied a lot, worked a lot, created a 'scientific business' from scratch for the benefit of the Soviet submarine fleet, a business that passed [went over] after many years of checkings to other people ...
In general, Vladimir Vasilievich worked hard and patriotically for the Soviet Motherland ...
