A dream of a kind paradise. Regarding the exhibition 'Big Dreams of Little People' by Belarusian artist Valentin Gubarev. The note.
It would be nice to become a Jäger [special worker] or a forester, - in this sense the artist Valentin Gubarev expresses himself. (https://www.kp.by/daily/27288/4425868/?utm_source=yxnews&utm_medium=desktop)
A clean, untouched forest, a good air, a beautiful glades and a blue sky appear in my thoughts.
And in a distant province, there are clean and honest people who are not capable of deception, and are always ready to help.
It remains to look deeper into history. There, in the depths, we see hardworking peasants, deeply religious and regularly attending church.
Some of these peasants were a not the rich gentry (szlachta), which was participating in wars and gaining experience in public administration, receiving education and acquiring a broad outlook. This gentry had created spaceships, and not the tin can opener, which is stylized by Valentin Gubarev as a spaceship. The viewers, who are looking at this device (for the opening of a tin cans) - the audience, who had been painted by Valentin Gubarev - they resemble the public from the painting by Ilya Repin "The Demonstration of October 17, 1905". .
They, these peasants, have lived side by side with each other for centuries, and (therefore) they are ready to help each other, and it is somehow stupid (for them) to deceive each other.
Then this peasant community disappeared ... But did these people move somewhere? To provincial towns? Where, perhaps, the respected artist Valentin Gubarev found them?
And are there many untouched forests left? One can reflect on this when reading about the vast modern estates and a hunting grounds. And islands made of plastic products in the world's oceans do not inspire much cheerfulness.
Paradise may exist. For example, in the soul of some little boy. I am ready to believe in the painting by Valentin Gubarev, where a boy with a hare is sitting at the exit of a modern entrance (with broken mailboxes) of a multi-storey apartment building , and in front of them is the sky, and instead of the earth there are clouds.
But is there a way out of the situation in the modern world - for talented people with a pure soul?
For example, the persistence of a creative person, the desire to go his own way (despite criticism and labels), an exclusive relationship with a French art gallery.
A Jäger and a forester may also have problems - it is enough to read the memories of the hunt of Soviet or post-Soviet leaders. Some of the readers may vomit. A Jägers and a foresters - are they more morally stable?
Another thing is an artist with an exclusive contract with a French gallery.
He is probably backed by money, and is distinguished by some, almost elusive (but real) personal international guarantees.
It would be nice if all Belarusians could get drunk on of a benefits from the life-giving European source ...
This requires some changes ...
But for a simple-minded, pure person, it's hard to believe that elections can be falsified, that there can be massive repressions, torture, beatings, that there can be orders to land the plane ... (Why is someone not successful? Because luck was not enough ...) ...
And since it is difficult to believe in different political negativity, then, therefore, you can not limit yourself to the money and status received from the French gallery, but also add to them the favor, the benevolence of local structures.
And what a pleasure ... An proposal to arrange a personal exhibition ... An excellently printed album ...
And somehow all the unpleasant things fade into the background. Imperceptibly, the shoulder is placed closer - for a little support, as a small, but noticeable, help ...
Spectators comes to the exhibition. They look at the paintings and their feelings are touched.
They look at a stylized teapot - in the form of a house. There are peaceful, pleasant scenes around the teapot.
No fire under the kettle - no. Maybe the kettle boils sometimes; but in the picture he does not boil.
And what? Yes, this is funny.
'Yes, we live in a peaceful, cultured country. Even with the possibility of being near a French art gallery,' - thinks a viewer, a visitor to the exhibition.
The soul becomes somehow cleaner ...
(And, in general, you can recall the children's stories by Dragunsky. Dragunsky - it's a literature for children. Valentin Gubarev -it's an art of painting. But there are common creative sources).
