Having been crucified, Jesus Christ descended down to the Hell and took everyone out of there except for Wise Solomon. "You," said Jesus to him, "get out of here by your own wisdom!" Thus Solomon was left alone in the Hell; how could he get out of the Hell? He pondered on and on, until began weaving a rope. Suddenly a little imp came over to the man and inquired as to why he was weaving his rope without ceasing. "If you knew a lot, you'd, surely, get even older than your grandfather, Satan! You'll see with your own eye in due time!" Upon weaving up his rope, he got down to measuring the Hell with the rope. The imp once again kept after the man with his questions as to why he was measuring the Hell. "Right over here I'll put a monastery," pointed out Wise Solomon "and over there I'll put a Cathedral." The imp got scared, fled to his grandfather, Satan, and put him wise on the matter, so, for Satan there was nothing left to do but to drive Wise Solomon out of the Hell.
